School Librarians are busy people. Sometimes our fundamental responsibility– building an outstanding collection–gets lost in the shuffle. My book on collection development published by the American Association of School Librarians is my attempt to help.

The “S.E.W. What?” School Library Blog is for school librarians to have a place to discuss questions pertaining to selecting, evaluating, and weeding their collections.
